step 2- read the source
step 3- create works cited entry - www.citationmachine.net
step 4- open a word document, create a header with your name and date, as
well as the assignment name , which would be (authors name, or
article title) annotation
step 4- copy and paste entry to top of page
step 5- write an annotation as follows:
1. main idea- what is the main idea of the article? what is the
authors main argument?
2. What evidence is used in the article? What types of evidence
are being used? What are some specific details that support
the main idea?
3. What is your opinion on this information? HOw does it relate
to other sources you have found? How will you be able to use
this in your research paper?
(3 annotations are due the 7th or 8th)
